experienced graphic designer to work part-time in our Gilbert office.

Job Requirements:
- Strong design skills with ability to create beautiful and eye catching ads for our Real Estate magazines.
- Proficient in Macintosh OSX platforms including versions of Quark,
Adobe Illustrator CS, Photoshop CS, and Acrobat, Dreamweaver,
Portfolio, etc.
- Basic understanding of Mac OSX Server administration and networking.
- Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance
requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting
malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories;
evaluating new equipment.
- Some web design skills required to created web pages for online proofs.
- Create original art and edit existing art.
- Understands design elements used to create visual communications
solutions, applies knowledge of color, layout, composition and spatial
elements for the print medium.
- Candidate must possess basic grammar, proofreading and spelling skills,
strong knowledge of and demonstrated capability in desktop publishing
and an excellent multitasking ability.
- Able to design and produce in a faster paced, deadline driven environment.
- Able to work independently, but must also be able to take input from others.
- Excellent communication skills.
Hours:
Our
magazine is on a 4-week production cycle. During non-deadline weeks you
would work about 15 hours per week. During deadline week, you would
work 35 - 40 hours.
